Futuro House

Restored by artist Craig Barnes and the Remote Possibilities team, this spaceship style, prefabricated fibreglass house was designed by Finnish architect Matti Suuronen in the late 1960s and is one of only 60 worldwide still in existence today. After Futuro House’s initial London landing at Matt’s Gallery, Mile End, it moved to Central Saint Martins, Kings Cross where it landed for two years. Futuro was utilized by the college community as an active space for future gazing performances, talks, screenings and exhibitions as well as for sold out monthly public tours hosted by Craig Barnes. Futuro House is now available for hire through Remote Possibilities.
